a day in the life

Looking Up to You

We like our art projects around here so we are often drawn to a blank canvas, this one just happens to be a shoe.  Quick, grab some sharpies and customize some of your own!  We took some general inspiration from Pierre Hardy Shoes.  This is a fun one to do together, no skill level required no right or wrong answer, just let your creativity be your guide and see where it takes you.  One thing is certain, no one else will have a pair like yours...

Playing Cat and Mouse

We're back in our favorite faux fur coat and luckily, at the rate this one is growing, it will be back in rotation next year as well!  Speaking of which, the cat shoes have been too big and patiently sitting on a shelf waiting for their debut.  Well, TA-DAH!!!  Here they are, out and about.  More personified apparel to follow later this week...

Read My Lips

Wishing you a great Valentine weekend...we've got our smooching sneakers on so we're ready to go!

for the Littles:

  • Back Roads Biker Leather Shoppe Classic Motorcycle Jacket (this is unisex sizing so we recommend sizing down)
  • turtleneck...can you believe we can no longer find a black turtleneck anywhere for the Littles???  Until fall...
  • Gap Boys Skinny Jeans (since these are boys we sized down one size and, to get the exact look we wanted, we let out the hem) or similar Hudson Kids Cropped Jeans (unroll the cuff and let down the hem)
  • similar Gucci Junior Sunglasses
  • Akid Lip Print Sneakers

Hugs & Kisses

So today we got the itch to try something admittedly a little whacky...we are wearing a sweater as a skirt.  In all fairness this really works best if your head, waist and hips all have roughly the came circumference...that's why it works great for a toddler!  However, if you have particularly stretchy neck sweater or maybe something with a wide or boatneck opening maybe give it a try?  If it doesn't work out you don't have to wear it out of the house after all!  Why not, life is short, be adventurous!  We're gearing up for Valentine's in a big way over here so a nod to the holiday all week long...  Hugs & Kisses, XO XO XO!
