Ruby Friday

Today we're putting our vintage brooch and pin drawer to work.  It's a long and lasting love affair with that brooch drawer!  A little sparkle always makes us feel good...  Feeling inspired and starting to think it might be a good weekend to hit up the flea and and add a couple gems to the mix!  Have a good one...meet you back here Monday!

for the Littles:

  • American Apparel Long Sleeve Rib T-Shirt or similar Crewcuts Long Sleeve T-Shirt (5 star reviews)
  • similar Crewcuts Boys Denim Jacket (we like the relaxed fit)
  • DIY Jacket Embellishment:  Stampendous Jewel Red Glitter dusted over Fabric Glue that has been applied carefully with a paintbrush (apply coat of clear dry fabric glue on top of glitter once dry to seal the glitter, embellish with Dome Rivets/Studs ***potential chocking hazard so only use for appropriate ages and make sure all studs are applied securely, we like the wash, color, fit and general attitude of this J Crew Boys Jean Jacket as a starting point
  • we wear brooches and pins but under extremely high supervision, these are small items that could be a choking hazard or cause lacerations 
  • Old Navy Dark Wash Jean or similar Stella McCartney Dark Wash Jeans
  • Akid Lip Print Sneakers
