Double Down

Break out your latch hooks!  For those amongst us who love a good latch hook rug it's time to put those well honed skills back to use.  We have DIY-ed a classic cable sweater with fringe, fringe and, yes... more fringe!  We plan on sweater DIY-ing our way through the week...and today we're doubling down with fringe all the way down to our feet!

DIY:  (latch hook illustrated instructions)  Determine where fringe trim should fall from the bottom of the sweater, double this length and add 1", this is the length of yarn needed for the first row of fringe.  For each row add another 1" in length.  Apply latched fringe in each purl stitch (or recessed portion) of the sweater's rib hem.  Apply in rows every 1/2" starting from hem until the sweater's rib trim is covered.
