a day in the life

Like Totally, for Sherpa!

Jacket weather!  This week we're pulling out our 'little black jackets' and putting them to good use.  In the past we've shied away from pairing navy with black and usually find sherpa as a fabrication dowdy and dated.  Well...never say never...navy and black sherpa it is!  Looks like two wrongs DO make a right after all.  The tattoos are a happy 'left over from our pirate costume' accident but are always a fun surprise, especially on a toddler!

A Sliver of Silver

As promised, more metallic skirt love!  And did we mention turtlenecks?  Get ready for lots and lots of turtlenecks...  In the meantime, have a Happy Halloween!

Foiled Again

So, it's time to admit, we are the type of people that like to wear sequins in the middle of the day.  Why wait for evening or a special occasion?  Those opportunities are far too rare and the joy of sparkle and shine is far too great.  (OK, maybe it's the wine from the pumpkin carving party talking?)  But really, it should come as no surprise that a little daytime shine (dressed down, of course) is right up our alley.  More to come tomorrow...

Emerald City Zoo

Channeling The Royal Tenenbaums for a trip to the Central Park Zoo.  This skirt is so special and so much fun (even more in person!), we're going to need to pick up more colors immediately!

By now our affinity for metallics has been well documented.  Metallics in rich fall color?  Simply irresistible.
